Understanding your emotional regulation patterns can help you develop better coping strategies and improve your overall emotional wellbeing.

Info About This Test

Based on the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS) framework developed by Gratz and Roemer (2004). Measures multiple dimensions of emotion regulation including awareness, clarity, acceptance, access to regulation strategies, impulse control, and goal-directed behavior. Uses reverse scoring for dysregulation items. Total score averaged across 18 items and classified into four levels based on established cutoffs for emotional regulation capacity.

This test is for educational and self-reflection purposes only. It is not a diagnostic tool and should not replace professional psychological evaluation.
